In the beginning…about 30 years ago, a very special and innovative class was born! It began as a Sunday School class and evolved into…The Friendship Club!

It all began with Mrs. Morck (a member of our congregation) who had a burning desire for a class in Christian education that would be suitable for her son Robert and other people with special needs. In Camrose there was no class, so out of her vision they asked Jim Winters in to teach and the class was born.

It began with three or four students in a small dark Sunday School room with one teacher, and today we have grown to 12 – 13 students, with up to four teachers (helpers). We also have room to accommodate the drivers who bring them.

This class meets Sunday mornings from 9:45 am to 10:30 am in a room near the basement auditorium.
